PURPOSE: A TV watching control method of a terminal, apparatus thereof, and record medium including a program for executing a TV watching control method are provided to effectively offer various services to a user by automatically changing the broadcasting signal of a portable terminal into the broadcasting signal of an external TV. CONSTITUTION: A video processing block(304) restores compressed video data into original video data. An audio processing block(306) restores compressed audio data into original audio data. An access check block(308) transmits an access confirmation message to an external TV terminal through a transmission and reception block(310) according to set predetermined cycle while a portable terminal is executing a TV watching mode. When entry confirmation message is received, a broadcasting control block(312) transmits a command message and broadcasting information to the external TV terminal.
