<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of imaging a subject and obtaining a color image even under an imaging condition in which visibility is low due to fog or the like, or in a dark environment with low illuminance. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises: an optical member for spectrally diffracting light incident from the subject into first light consisting of only wavelength components of a visible light area and second light containing no first light and consisting of only the wavelength components of areas other than the visible light area; a color imaging element for photodetection of the first light irradiated from the optical member; and a monochromatic imaging element for photodetection of the second light irradiated from the optical member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
