摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train operation control system capable of shortening, as much as possible, a required time for a route control device to be restored after causing some failure and stopping, and capable of being applied to both of a distributed type and a single station type. <P>SOLUTION: The train operation control system includes a train operation control network 2 and a route control device 3A that is installed at each interlocking station and that controls train routes. The route control device 3A at each interlocking station has a route control unit 5A for main system that controls routes of an own interlocking station and a route control unit 6A for sub system that controls routes of other interlocking stations. A dual type route control unit of the route control device 3A is configured to lie astride the route control device 3A installed at the own interlocking station and a route control device 3B installed at any other interlocking station. The route control device 3A includes a virtualizing unit 4A. The dual type route control units 5A, 5B for main and sub systems monitor the presence of mutual failure through the train operation control network 2 and the virtualizing unit 4A.
