A composition, device, kit and method for detecting the presence or absen ce of roundworm in a fecal sample. The composition, device, kit and method o f the present invention may be used to confirm the presence or absence of ro undworm in a fecal sample from a mammal that may also be infected with one o r more of hookworm, whipworm, and heartworm.
