PURPOSE:To measure the concentration of blood plasma protein quickly in good accuracy, by measuring automatically a diameter of precipitation ring produced by a flat board medium containing an antibody and the blood plasma protein in a sample and measuring automatically the correlation between a relative expression of the diameter of the precipitation ring by the standard sample and the concentration of the blood plasma protein and measured value. CONSTITUTION:A concentration of a blood plasma protein component (an antigen) such as immune globulin, the complement etc., is measured by measuring a diameter of a precipitation ring 66 of an antigen-antibody produced by dropping a fixed quantity of sample blood plasma in a hole 64 of a midium (gelatine etc.) flat board 50 which is contained a fixed concentration of a singular antibody at the value of 0.1mm. order on one's eyes according with two target lines 60, 62 of a semicylindrical type lens 26. Further, a measured date, room temperature and a sample plate lot number etc., are inputted by a key boat 14 and the concentrations of three different protein content of the standard sample of known protein content are measured in the same way and then, a relational expression between the concentrations of the standard sample and the diameter of the ring 66 is found automatically. The concentration is measured quickly and accurately by putting the measured value of the sample into said relational expression by using an apparatus 10 outputting the concentration into a display device 18 and a printer 20 automatically. |
