<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact linear actuator enabling the smooth movement and accurate position detection of a lens holder. <P>SOLUTION: A linear actuator (10) driving a lens comprises: a lens holder (14); a guide shaft (18) guiding the lens holder; two voice coil motors 22a, 22b respectively equipped with driving coils 32a, 32b, driving magnets 30a, 30b, and yokes 26a, 26b leading the magnetism of the driving magnets to the driving coils, and disposed on both sides of the guide shaft so as to make a generally right angle; and a magnetic sensor (24) disposed between those two voice coil motors and detecting a position of the lense holder. The yokes are provided with guard yoke portions 36a, 36b suppressing the magnetism leaking from the driving magnets and influencing on the magnetic sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
