LIGHT SYSTEM

The invention relates to a light system having a rail (1) and having at least one light module (2) which is attached to the rail (1) such that it can move. One aim is to allow the light system to be used flexibly, and to be matched easily and cost-effectively to different conditions. A further aim is to allow any repairs to be carried out quickly and easily. This is achieved by arranging a plug connection, for making electrical contact with the light module, between the rail (1) and the light module (2), in which case the plug connection can be connected to an electrical power source by means of a cable (15), and by the light module (2) being detachably latched in latching grooves (6) which extend along the rail (1).
