The hinge (10) has a hinge wing (12) for fastening the hinge at a frame element, and another hinge wing (16) for fastening the hinge at a flap element. A hinge joint (26) pivotably connects the latter hinge wing with the former wing around a pivoting axis. The latter wing comprises a motion sensor and/or rotational angle sensor (30) to detect pivoting of the latter wing without reference to the former wing or to the frame element. An earth's magnetic field sensor, earth's gravitational field sensor or acceleration sensor is provided as the motion sensor and/or rotational angle sensor.
