<p>PURPOSE: A precision roll turning lathe and an automatic tool changer thereof are provided that the tool is for exchanged by the full automatically and the ultra precision machining of the roll mold is proceed without the machine down. CONSTITUTION: An automatic tool changer comprises a tool changing unit(62), a bite holder stoker(60), a holder base(64), the clamp shaft operator(66). The changing unit has a turning arm(61), a hand unit(72), a turning unit, and a lifting unit. The hand unit holds the bite holder(42) attachably and detachably. The turning unit swivels the circular arm. The lifting unit raises the circular arm. A plurality of mounting plates(71) is arranged to the peripheral direction of the bite holder stoker. The bite holder is attachably and detachably supported in each main chuck. It fixes the bite holder with the rotation of a clamp shaft(74) and the clamp tool of the holder base cancels. It rotates the clamp axis and the manipulation part of the clamp shaft operator set makes the bite holder the clamp/unclamp.</p> |
