PURPOSE: A method for preparing green algae-derived polysaccharides with an activity of enhancing immunity is provided to secrete NO, TNF-alpha, IL-1beta, and PGE2. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing green algae-derived polysaccharides comprises: a step of adding ethyl alcohol to dried green algae, heating, and centrifuging to collect a pellet; a step of removing pigment, lipid, and low molecular protein from the pellet using acetone; a step of centrifuging to collect final pellet and drying; a step of adding distilled water to the powder, heating, and centrifuging to prepare supernatant; a step of concentrating the supernatant and adding ethyl alcohol; a step of centrifuging to collect supernatant and adding ethyl alcohol to prepare precipitate, and a step of purifying polysaccharide by ion exchange column chromatography. |
