PURPOSE: A trip mechanism for current limiting type mold cased circuit breaker is provided to improve the reliability of a wire circuit breaker by shortening a trigger operation of a switch in passing a large current. CONSTITUTION: In a trip mechanism for current limiting type mold cased circuit breaker, a shaft supports a movable contact(3) to be rotatable. A crossbar(8) rotates the switch to a trigger. One end is pressured by the movable contact. The other end rotates the crossbar to the trigger to strike it. A restoring spring applies an elastic force to a shooter.
