摘要 PURPOSE: A safety device for igniting a rocket using MEMS is provided to prevent accidents in firing since engine is ignited, only if inertia or injection acceleration beyond a given value is applied. CONSTITUTION: A safety device for igniting a rocket using MEMS comprises a housing(100), a circuit assembly(110), an input connector(125), an MEMS assembly(150), and an output connector(140). The housing holds and supports each component. The circuit assembly is assembled along the inner slot of the housing and outputs an ignition signal under a particular condition. The input connector supplies power to the circuit assembly. The MEMS assembly is assembled to the lower cover of the housing and is coupled perpendicularly to the circuit assembly. The MEMS assembly supplies a trigger signal to the circuit assembly.
