PURPOSE: A method of treating the surface of metal is provided to enable the high-speed plating of three metals alloy plating since an environment-friendly Ni-free plating process is used, so the Zn concentration of three metals alloy plating increases. CONSTITUTION: A method of treating the surface of metal comprises next steps. A sample is pre-treated(S10). At first and second zincate steps, vanadium oxide of 0.5~1g/L is used as catalyst and a plating time decreases(S14,S17). Copper is plated on the pre-treated sample(S20). Copper is plated on a copper-stricken sample(S30). Ni-free three metals alloy is plated on a sample copper-plated using three metals alloy plating solution, which comprises Copper cyanide, zinc cyanide, sodium stannate, na cyanide, na sodium, first polish of aminoethyl sulfonic acid, second polish of potassium cyanide(S40).
