PURPOSE: A disk brake is provided to uniformly press a pad plate to a disk by simultaneously braking a wheel through a sub braking unit and a piston. CONSTITUTION: A disk brake a disk(60), pad plates(40, 50), a caliper housing(20), a sub driving units(70, 80) and a brake fluid pressure feeding unit(90). The disk is revolved with the wheel of a vehicle. The pad plate presses both sides of the disk and makes the braking power. A pad is attached to each inner surface in the pad plate. The caliper housing is operated with the braking fluid pressure and comprises a cylinder(21) and a finger portion(22). The sub driving unit is operated with the braking fluid pressure and presses the interval between pad plates while the piston advances toward one pad plate. The braking fluid pressure feeding unit simultaneously supplies the braking fluid pressure to the piston and sub driving unit. |
