PURPOSE: An image display device is provided to eliminate 3D crosstalk and motion blurring, thereby increasing display quality. CONSTITUTION: A light source scanning period comprises a first light source scanning period(TBSL) and a second light source scanning period(TBSR). A light source blinking period(TBB) is between the first and second light source scanning periods. The first light source scanning period is determined from a fixed time point of a late part of a left eye frame to a fixed time point of an early part of a right eye frame. The second light source scanning period is determined from a fixed time point of a late part of the right eye frame to a fixed time point of an early part of the left eye frame.
