PURPOSE: A thin film solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to obtain an uneven structure of a pattern on one side of a substrate by forming a plurality of grooves by spraying a plurality of beads on one side of the substrate. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(100) includes a plurality of grooves with a curved cross section. A front electrode layer(200) is formed on one side of the substrate. A semiconductor layer(300) is formed on the front electrode layer. A transparent conductive layer(400) is formed on the semiconductor layer. A rear electrode layer(500) is formed on the semiconductor layer.
