<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window regulator which is easy to be manufactured and imparts tension to a wire. <P>SOLUTION: The window regulator comprises: a carrier plate; a guide rail for guiding the carrier plate to move; a housing provided at one end of the guide rail; a wire guide provided at the other end of the guide rail; a drum stored in the housing; a lifting wire wound around the wire guide with its one end being connected to the carrier plate and the other end being connected to the drum; a lowering wire with its one end being connected to the carrier plate and the other end being connected to the drum; and a drive part for driving to rotate the drum, the one end of the guide rail is stored in a guide rail storage part provided at the housing, which allows the guide rail to move toward longitudinal direction and restricts the guide rail to move toward vertical direction relative to the longitudinal direction, a restrict part is provided at the guide rail for restricting the housing to move toward direction where tension applied to the lifting wire and the lowering wire is decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
