<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser fixing device capable of maintaining fixability even if a recording material is deviated from a focus due to difference of thickness according to a type of a recording material or due to a so-called "floating" of the recording material from a conveying material at a time of conveyance. <P>SOLUTION: While a focal length of a condenser lens 112 through which a laser beam radiated from a laser light source passes last is f(mm) and a distance in an optical axis direction from the focal position of the condenser lens 112 to a position in a permissible zone where fixability of a toner is established is a(mm), this fixing device 40 is configured to ensure that a surface of a record sheet conveying belt 103 passes a position where a distance from a center of the condenser lens 112 in an optical axis direction L(mm) satisfies f<L≥f+a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
