Disclosed is a resource management device for complying with required processing times of individual batch jobs. A resource correction control server (1) for performing calculation of resources necessary for batch application placement comprises an interim processing unit data acquisition processing section (102) for treating one data group of batch processing data for which processing has been completed as an interim processing unit at a predetermined time; a resource correction assessment processing section (103) for using the interim processing unit to assess the processing progression rate which is the progression rate of processing at the current time, and whether or not the processing progression rate has reached a necessary progression rate which is a progression rate which is necessary for completing the batch processing within the requested processing time; and a resource-to-assign calculation processing section (104) for calculating resources required for delay recovery on the basis of a progression rate for delay recovery and information of resources if the necessary progression rate has not been reached according to the results of the assessment.
