PURPOSE: An anchor for fixing a safety belt and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to protect a passenger from an accident by supporting pressing force applied to a safety belt. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an anchor for fixing a safety belt is as follows. A plate-shaped base material is placed on a lower mold. An upper mold presses the lower mold. An arc-shaped recess is formed in the base material. A belt hole(16) having a smaller diameter than the recess is formed in the base material. The inner edge and end protrusion of the recess are vertically unfolded. The outer edge and inner bottom of the base material are forged. The outer side of the forged base material is bent in a reverse U shape. The outer and inner sides of the bent base material are inward pressed. The pressed outer side is welded with the pressed inner side of the base material.
