<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The system has a back part (2), and a fastening belt (4) for fastening to a human body. A hip belt (5) is connected with the back part over a lateral support (6). The hip belt comprises a retainer, a recess, a pocket and a slot for a step counter. The retainer, the recess, the pocket and the slot are arranged in an area of a tailbone of the human body when the hip belt is correctly carried. The back part is connected with a front part over the fastening belt, and the lateral support is arranged at the back part and at the hip belt in a pivotable manner over two axes (38). #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Carrier system e.g. ballistic protective vest and armored or projectile-stopping protective vest, for use by military and police forces for protecting persons against attacks with stabbing weapons or projectiles. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The retainer, the recess, the pocket and the slot are arranged in the area of the tailbone of the human body when the hip belt is correctly carried, thus reducing vibrations and shocks in the area of the tailbone of the human body, and hence ensuring correct operation of the step counter.
