PURPOSE: A method for controlling the rotation of a screen in a device including a touch screen and apparatus thereof are provided to exactly rotate to desired direction through the touch screen without controlling the apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The other touch points in the state of one or more fixed touch points are slid(101). When input is received, the slide direction of the other touch points is determined. When the slide direction is determined to clockwise base on the fixed touch point, the current screen is rotated to the clock direction. If the slide direction is anticlockwise, the current screen is rotated to the anticlockwise(102).
