<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation member, capable of obtaining high electric power and usable for a long period, and a power generation device using the same. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power generation member 1 includes: a plurality of piezoelectric devices 2 having electrodes 2a, 2b on both principal planes of a plate-shaped piezoelectric ceramic 2b; a holding member 3 for holding the piezoelectric device 2 on one principal plane side; and a support member 4 for supporting the retention member 3. The electric power generation member 1 generates power by depressing a piezoelectric device 2 from the other principal plane side. The holding member 3 is formed in a plate shape. The plurality of piezoelectric devices 2 are disposed in a matrix shape of a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns.
