<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output waveform of a gate signal for lengthening life and reducing power consumption of a pixel transistor by a simpler configuration in a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes: a plurality of shift register circuits (281, 282) which output gate signals to be input in a gate of the pixel transistor which controls an orientation of liquid crystal of each pixel and are arranged for every line in which each pixel is arranged; first clock output lines CK1 which are input in odd-numbered line shift register circuits (281); and second clock output lines CK2 which are input in even-numbered line shift register circuits (282), two kinds of different clock signals, a first clock signal CK_A and a second clock signal CK_B are alternately applied to the first clock output lines CK_A and the second clock output lines CK_B for every frame period which is the period for display for one screen, and the first clock signal CK_A and the second clock signal CK_B are the clock signals with the same period and different phases. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
