CHARACTER INPUT PROGRAM, CHARACTER INPUT DEVICE, CHARACTER INPUT SYSTEM, AND CHARACTER INPUT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of keys for character input as well as prevent decrease in an input speed and incorrect input.

SOLUTION: Multiple character input key images are displayed on a screen. While a pointing device is pointing to any one of the character input key images, multiple characters associated with the character input key image are cyclically displayed on the screen as undetermined characters by each operation of a button provided on the pointing device. When the position pointed by the pointing device is off the character input key image corresponding to the undetermined character displayed on the screen, the undetermined character is displayed on the screen as a determined character.
