<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the control for suppressing noise generation and the control for power-saving in a non-operating state. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic equipment with a speaker includes: a terminal for connecting an external equipment that outputs an audio signal; detection means detecting that a connection member for connecting the external equipment is connected to or disconnected from the terminal; an audio codec provided with a digital circuit for processing audio data in an operating state of the electronic equipment, and an analog circuit that includes an amplifying function for amplifying the audio signal inputted via the terminal and outputting the amplified audio signal to the speaker in a non-operating state of the electronic equipment; a power source circuit that supplies a power; and control means that controls the power supply from the power source circuit to the analog circuit, based on which state of the operating state or the non-operating state the electronic equipment is in and whether or not the connection member is connected to the terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
