DATA DELETION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND DATA DELETION MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that huge time and costs have been spent on an operation that a terminal manager confirms whether or not data deletion has been executed.

SOLUTION: This data deletion management system is provided with: a terminal equipped with a storage device for performing writing and deletion of data; a customer server connected to the terminal; and a management server for managing data deleting situations of the storage device of the terminal. The customer server is provided with a program transmission means for distributing a data deletion program to the terminal for deleting the data stored in the storage device of the terminal, and the management server is provided with: a transmission/reception means for receiving data deletion completion notification from the terminal to notify a terminal manager that the data deletion of the storage device of the terminal is completed by executing the data deletion program; and a progress analyzing means for creating a list table in which the states of progress of the data deletion of the storage device of the terminal are gathered based on the data deletion completion notification.
