<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure activity of a coagulation reaction with a small amount of blood plasma sample. <P>SOLUTION: A coagulation activity measuring apparatus comprises a surface plasmon resonance measuring device for measuring a refractive index on a surface of a flow passage of a measuring chip 100 comprising the flow passage in which a solution flows. The surface plasmon resonance measuring device comprises a prism 1, a light source 2, a polarizer 3, a condenser lens 4, a CCD camera 5, and a data processing device 6. Moreover, the data processing device 6 comprises: a flow rate calculating unit for calculating a flow rate of blood plasma moving in the flow passage from a change in the refractive index when the blood plasma is injected into the flow passage after the flow passage of the measuring chip 100 is filled with a coagulation activator; and a coagulation activity value calculating unit for calculating a coagulation activity value from the flow rate calculated by the flow rate calculating unit on the basis of a known relation between the flow rate of the blood plasma and the coagulation activity value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
