PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the efficiency of the solar cell by arranging an electrode unit and a rear electric field unit with a lattice type to increase charge collection efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An emitter(121) has a first emitter unit(1211) with a second conductive type and a first thickness and a second emitter unit(1212) with a second thickness. A plurality of front electrodes(140) is connected to the second emitter. A rear electric field unit(171) is partially located on the rear of the substrate. A plurality of rear electrodes(150) is connected to the rear electric field unit.
