<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it takes time from a user's instruction to image update in a video reproduction device capable of seeking to an optional position on a video. <P>SOLUTION: A video reproduction device 500 comprises: a display position designation unit 501 which designates an image of a location on video which a user desires to display; an index interpretation unit 502 which interprets index information of a video file 511; a decoded image determination unit 503 which determines an image needing decoding to display an image of a designated position, on the basis of the index information; a decoding unit 504 which successively obtains video data from the video file 511 and decodes the same; a display image determination unit 507 which determines an image to be displayed before the image of the designated position on the basis of the index information; and a display unit 508 which displays the image determined by the display image determination unit 507. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
