<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device that prevents an operation of a switch not intended by an operator. <P>SOLUTION: A button section 1 includes a case 2 having a button hole 3, a key top 4 housed in the button hole 3, and a switch substrate 5 provided at a position corresponding to the button hole 3 in the case 2. In this button structure, the key top 4 is depressed so as to depress a switch main body 6 mounted at a position corresponding to the key top 4 on the switch substrate 5, so that a switch is operated. The case 2 has a button guard portion 7 that is provided at a part of an area surrounding the button hole 3 so as to project from a surface of the case 2, and the key top 4 has a guard protrusion 8 that is provided so as to project toward the switch substrate 5. When a portable electronic device having the button section 1 is placed on a desk or the like and the key top 4 is accidentally pushed by contact with its surface, the guard protrusion 8 is brought into contact with the switch substrate 5, thereby preventing the key top 4 from activating the switch main body 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
