<p>A method, system and an optical network unit (ONU) for synchronizing data are provided. The method includes: a first ONU receives the synchronization data transmitted from a first optical line terminal (OLT) through the Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) encapsulation method (GEM) port corresponding to the predetermined GEM port identification (ID) or the logical link corresponding to the predetermined Logical Link Identification (LLID) and stores the synchronization data (101); when a fault occurs on the first OLT or a backbone optical fiber connected with the first OLT, the first ONU transmits the synchronization data to a second OLT, so that the second OLT recovers the service according to the synchronization data (102). With the embodiments of the present invention, the problem in the prior art is solved that the rate of the data synchronization between the master OLT and the backup OLT is slow and the reliability is not high after a fault occurs on the master OLT or the backbone optical fiber connected with the master OLT, so that the rate of the data synchronization between the master OLT and the backup OLT is improved and the reliability of the data synchronization is ensured.</p> |
