A gas detection system for detecting a specific gas present in a specific space has a gas concentration detection section for detecting the concentration of the specific gas, a recording section, a notice section, and a determination section which, when determining that the gas concentration detected by the gas concentration detection section is higher than a first threshold value, causes the notice section to notice the fact and, when determining that the gas concentration is higher than a second threshold value and lower than the first threshold value, does not cause the notice section to notice the fact but causes the recording section to record specific information. The system facilitates determination of deterioration of a fuel utilizing device such as a fuel cell. |
