<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve linearity in yawing behavior and suppression of roll when steering without modifying a suspension device. <P>SOLUTION: During the period between the start of steering t1 and an instant t2 when a prescribed interval TM1s has passed, the drive torque of a motor is corrected so as to be a value which is increased from the intended motor torque by just the amount indicated by the solid line waveform; and during the period between t2 and an instant t4 when a prescribed interval TM2s has passed, the drive torque is controlled so as to be a value which is decreased from the intended motor torque by just the amount indicated by the solid line waveform. The motor torque decrease correction during the period t2 to t4 effects an inner and outer wheel load change which speeds up the vehicle roll speed, the inner and outer wheel side shock absorber/stroke speed Vsabout and Vsabin become faster than the Vsabout' and the Vsabin' when motor torque decrease correction is not executed. Hereby, the vibration damping force of a shock absorber becomes larger and the roll angle can be made small during the period, thus improving the feeling of rolling of the vehicle body while steering. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
