<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To finish start processing of an MFP even when transmission or reception of setting information which directly influences the start processing of the MFP is not finished when the MFP controls the start processing on the basis of the setting information from a server. <P>SOLUTION: The MFP 101 refers the setting information which is stored in a nonvolatile storage section in which the setting information received during last operation when the setting information can not be received from the server 23 at starting.
