<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve structure, an insertion jig, a radioactive substance storage container such as a cask, and a plug sealing method which can easily seal a communication hole. <P>SOLUTION: A drain valve structure 70, which is used when discharging cooling water accumulated in a cask, is provided in the cask capable of storing a radioactive substance inside. The drain valve structure 70 includes: a communication hole 72 which communicates an inner portion and an outer portion of the cask with each other so as to allow the cooling water to flow therethrough; and an inserting seal plug 73 which is capable of sealing the communication hole 72 by being inserted into it. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
