The belt has compressed gas generators allowing flow of gas between webbing layers (4, 5) that are arranged one above the other. A belt button (3) is secured at one of the webbing layers and formed with two clamping members at sides of one of the webbing layers. A pin is provided at one of the clamping members to make the clamping member to pass through the webbing layer. A locking bolt is provided at a connection point of the clamping members to connect the pin raised up by the webbing layer transverse to longitudinal extension of the belt with the other clamping member. The belt comprises a stiffener collet overmolded with plastic.
