<p>The present invention relates to a pair of real-time PCR primers and to a probe for detecting Avellino corneal dystrophy. More particularly, the present invention relates to a pair of real-time PCR primers and to a probe for detecting Avellino corneal dystrophy, which can accurately detect the presence or absence of a mutation in exon 4 of the BIGH3 gene which causes Avellino corneal dystrophy. By using the pair of primers and the probe of the present invention, Avellino corneal dystrophy can be more quickly and accurately detected as compared to conventional methods for detecting Avellino corneal dystrophy using a DNA chip or PCR.</p> |
