<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite cathode active material that can reduce interface resistance to solid electrolyte material when the composite cathode active material is used for all-solid battery. <P>SOLUTION: A composite cathode active material has a cathode active material including transition metal, a cation part which is provided so as to be coated on the surface of the cathode active material and formed of a metal element serving as a conducting ion, and a reaction inhibiting part formed of a polyanion-structure containing compound having a polyanion structure part constructed by a center element covalently bonded with plural oxygen elements. A transition metal reduction layer is self-formed through the reaction between the transition metal and the polyanion-structure containing compound on the surface of the cathode active material which is in contact with the reaction inhibiting part, and the thickness of the transition metal reduction layer is set to 10nm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
