This disclosure relates to compositions and methods for inducing immune response. Specifically, the disclosure relates to a composition comprising a subunit antigen stabilized by a polysaccharide-containing plant extract, in which the antigen consists of virus-like particles that have enhanced mucosal immunogenicity as a result of the stabilization.
