<p>The invention relates to a shelf (1) for displaying items, particularly for forming shop shelving, said shelf (1) resting via its lateral ends (3, 5) on support arms and comprising a flat structure (7) on which said items are placed in order to attract attention, and reinforcing means positioned under said flat structure (7) in order to stiffen it, this being notable in that the reinforcing means are made up of two lateral reinforcing pieces (9, 11) and of at least one longitudinal reinforcing piece (13) consisting of a bar structure the cross section of which is in the shape of a U with a base (37) at the bottom and two vertical legs (39, 41) the top ends (43, 45) of which are bent over at right angles, in opposite directions, and in that the reinforcing pieces (9, 11, 13) comprise assembly means designed so that said lateral reinforcing pieces (9, 11) support both the lateral ends (3, 5) of the flat structure (7) and the ends (19, 21) of the longitudinal reinforcing piece (13) and can be attached to the support arms and so that said longitudinal reinforcing piece (13) at the same time supports the flat structure (7).</p> |
