PURPOSE: A crane jib including a biased tension member is provided to reduce peak stress which is partially generated in an edge area during the operation of a crane. CONSTITUTION: A crane jib(10) comprises an inner frame, a tension member(11), and sheathings(13,14). The tension member is biased and equipped with a sensor, and the tension member provides pressure bias that is changed by an actuator to jib parts. A rod, a wire, or a disk can be employed as the tension member.
