PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of simplifying maintenance work by approximately uniforming loads of a plurality of compressors and a plurality of engines. SOLUTION: In this heat pump system comprising the plurality of engines 1, and a compression-type heat pump circuit 10 having the plurality of compressors respectively applying brake power of the plurality of engines 1 as driving sources, and further comprising a control means 40 executing the stopped compressor control for controlling the number of stopped compressors on the basis of thermal load in the compression-type heat pump circuit 10, the control means 40 successively changes the stopped compressors.
