The invention at hand is a seat reclining mechanism, ensuring Iength compensation while tilting back- or frontwards, avoiding pulling ciothes of a user. The mechanism ensures a pivot around a virtual joint, placed at the rotational point of the hip of the user, and placement of the actuator under the seat, enabling a more compact and aesthetic design than prior art.
