<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radical-polymerizable resin that is excellent in flexibility of a cured product thereof, and, when used as an adhesive, can ease stress caused by a difference in a coefficient of thermal expansion arising between an adhesive and an adherend during heating or cooling, and that prevents peeling at an adhesive interface, breakage of the adherend and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The radical-polymerizable resin is a resin obtained by cationic polymerization of a compound represented by formulae (1a) to (1b) and a specific (meth)acrylic acid ester having an epoxy group or an oxetanyl group, is liquid at 0°C and has a weight-average molecular weight of at least 500. In the formulae, R<SP POS="POST">a</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">b</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">c</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">d</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">e</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">f</SP>are the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom or a 1-20C hydrocarbon group that may contain an oxygen atom, where at least one of R<SP POS="POST">a</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">b</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">c</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">d</SP>and at least one of R<SP POS="POST">e</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">f</SP>are 4-20C hydrocarbon groups that may contain an oxygen atom. At least two of R<SP POS="POST">a</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">b</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">c</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">d</SP>may bind with each other to form a ring together with one or two adjacent carbon atoms.
