PURPOSE: A resource allocation method of a wireless communication system and apparatus thereof are provided to reduce the bit amount of generated resource allocation information by reducing the number of whole resource blocks groups. CONSTITUTION: When a resource allocation information generating unit(410) assigns a cluster resource to a cluster, the resource allocation information generating unit replaces the cluster with two or more resource block groups and reduces the number of whole resource block groups. The resource allocation information generating unit generates resource allocation information based on the number of clusters. A resource allocation information transmitting unit(420) transmits resource allocation information.
