<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner member which allows an arris part of an inner wall to be neatly finished even without accurately cutting or fixing a base board. <P>SOLUTION: A corner member 10 comprises: a pair of projecting pieces 11 and 11, which each has the thickness of about 1.0 mm and are mutually connected to form an angle of about 90°; and reinforcing ribs 12 and 12, which diagonally project from the base ends of the respective projecting pieces 11 and 11, facing each other, for reinforcing the angled part formed by the projecting pieces 11 and 11. In order to give a soft impression to an arris part 1 of an inner wall, the angled part is rounded. The ends of base boards 21 and 21 are fixed onto a column 22 with the ends placed mutually apart. A wall-finishing material 23 such as cloth is adhered to the surfaces of the base boards 21 and 21 and the corner member 10 while the projecting pieces 11 and 11 of the corner member 10 are fixed onto the respective end surfaces of the base boards 21 and 21 facing the column 22.
