<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens for an endoscope, the objective lens being configured so as to be satisfactorily usable in a wide range of wavelengths. <P>SOLUTION: The objective lens for an endoscope is configured so as to satisfy a conditional expression ¾δh-δC¾/f<2...(1), where "δh" is an amount (unit: μm) of magnification color aberration on a line h relative to a line d at the maximum half field angle, and "δC" is an amount (unit: μm) of magnification color aberration on a line C relative to the line d, and "f" is the focal distance (unit: mm) of the entire system.
