<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guide a vehicle to a destination by following an optimum route even a navigation device does not store the latest map data on roads relating to routes to the destination. <P>SOLUTION: At a departure place 21, the navigation device which has searched a conventional route including a road 25, sends route information to a navigation server. The navigation server searches the latest route including a road 26, compares the conventional route and the latest route, and extracts the route 26 which is included in the latest route but not in the conventional route as a guide object road. When a vehicle 100 approaches to a branch point 23, the navigation server sends guidance information about the branch point 23 to the navigation device. The navigation device who has received the guidance information, indicates a traveling direction of the vehicle 100 at the branch point 23 and performs guidance of the vehicle 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
