<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary step device of a motorcycle which covers a fixing part between an auxiliary step frame and a seat frame regardless of a size of a body cover. <P>SOLUTION: The auxiliary step device 38 of a motorcycle 1 includes a seat 12 provided in a rear part of a vehicle body frame 3 and having a pillion passenger seat part 12b, a rear wheel 7 arranged below the pillion passenger seat part 12b, a rear fender 37 provided below the seat 12 and for covering at least the rear wheel 7 from above, and a rear frame cover 17 for covering the rear part of the vehicle body frame 3 from outside in a right-and-left direction of the vehicle. The device 38 further includes side walls 45 integrally provided to the rear fender 37 and for covering the rear part of the vehicle body frame 3 together with the rear frame cover 17, an auxiliary step frame 47 suspended from the rear part of the vehicle body frame 3 and extending further below lower ends of the side walls 45, and an auxiliary step 48 provided to a lower end of the auxiliary step frame 47 and protruding outward in the right-and-left direction of the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
